I don't know if all of this is true but...

A little over one year ago:

  1. Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high
  2. Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon
  3. The unemployment rate was 4.5%

Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we've seen

  1. Consumer confidence plummet
  2. The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3 a gallon
  3. Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase)
  4. American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses)
  5. Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars
  6. 1% of American homes are in foreclosure

I know I won't be winning an Democratic readers here but..... just thought I'd post it anyway.

and I suppose none of that has ANYTHING to do with the moron of a President we have in office...The Congress doesn't control everything...the things that prompted these bullet points (true or not) were likely already in motion when the Congress became Democratic. They don't just decide something and have instant results...it takes months and years...

lol...who is really to blame for all this?? i say it's the demopublicans...or was it the republocats? :) i think we just need to fill washington with a bunch of ol' fishermen. that way everybody in the world will learn to know their role, stay on their side of lake, or it's hook em, filet em, and fry em :)

First and foremost you have to love those anonymous comments!

Secondly it's by no coincidence that this is happening. The name Nacy Pelosi makes me cringe!

I recently heard the two democratic presidential candidates say that we should take some of Exxon Mobile's profits and redistribute them to people that have fallen upon hard times. Why is the democratic mindsight one that wants to solve my problems andd make the right decision for me. I can do that on my own - thank you very much. Go figure! Can you imagine what would happen to your 401K, IRA, or pension if this was to happen. It would make a royal mess of things. Sounds a tad like communisim to me!

Great post!
